Scharing or (Sch)edule (a) (ring) is a ring mode scheduling application for the Google Android OS. It is currently built for Android >= 2.0.
The idea for Scharing came about because I have to keep my phone on silent or vibrate during work hours. I have forgotten to change the phone to vibrate and since I work in a very quiet environment (cubicles much like the ones in the movie Office Space) It can be very embarrassing to have my phone suddenly start ringing at full volume.
Not only was my phone ringing at work when it shouldn't have been, but most of the time I simply left it on vibrate after work. As a consequence I missed calls from people I actually wanted to talk to such as family and friends.
Writing Scharing was my solution to these issues and has worked out so well for me, I decided to share it with others.
